Anyone who regularly reads the Gerrards Cross Local magazine will have seen (and I hope, read) our articles over the years. Sometimes we write about the reasons everyone should make a Will – sometimes we write about the need for Lasting Powers of Attorney – sometimes Inheritance Tax and Care Fee Planning. Other times we have written about how we can help with Probate administration when you have been bereaved.
This month I thought we’d make a change and tell you a bit about Parchment Law Group LLP as a firm.
We have been established in Gerrards Cross since 1990 – originally as professional Willwriters and in more recent years as a firm of Solicitors. We are different from most other law firms in that we specialise in specific areas of law – namely all the areas listed in our advert below our monthly articles in the magazine and on our website – and our team are very experienced in the work they do.
Using a law firm to deal with various matters – whether it be making a Will, dealing with the Estate of someone who has died – or the conveyancing involved in buying and selling property – can often be a stressful and worrying experience. It shouldn’t be and we do our utmost to prevent it being in any way stressful. We take the burden from you. We are friendly and approachable and we talk your language. We never try and confuse people with legal jargon – we express things in simple English so that our clients understand the advice we are giving them. We take great pride in our work and we care about our clients.
We are also different because for most of the work we undertake we quote fixed fees at the outset – there is no ticking meter clocking up hourly rates, which can often prove expensive. Our fees are competitive and sensible.
Our office is in the centre of Gerrards Cross – we have wheelchair access and a ground floor meeting room. However, we can arrange home visits in the local area for people who can’t manage to get to our office.
We think that our positive attitude to our clients, and to our work is what makes us stand out and be successful. As a result of this success, we are expanding and are looking for more Solicitors to join us – particularly experienced Private Client lawyers and also those experienced in Conveyancing. If you are looking for a change of employment, or know someone who is, please contact us. We offer flexible terms, hours to suit, and a very friendly office where we treat our clients well and our team is a very happy one. If this is of interest to you, and you would like to join in our success, then please contact us, in confidence and with no obligation. We would be delighted to meet you and have a chat over a cup of coffee.
We also welcome calls from past clients and prospective future clients. We offer a free half hour initial meeting to see if we can help you with any of the areas of law in which we specialise.
